1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Codesity website (the "Site") and its services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this Site.

2. Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Codesity. All Codesity research papers, studies, and course materials are free for all of humanity. Any individual or entity attempting to sell or profit from our free resources will face legal action, including prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.

All innovations, inventions, and project work created by interns or members under the guidance of Codesity, using Codesity resources, or within Codesity labs are the exclusive intellectual property of Codesity. No external employer, partner, or third party has any right to this work.

3. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

As a user of this Site, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Using the Site for any illegal purpose or in violation of any law.
  • Harassing, abusing, or harming another person. Any member found to be disrespecting or harassing another member will face immediate and permanent termination of their membership and may be subject to a fine, enforced legally.
  • Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or any related system or network.
  • Sending unsolicited communications or spam through our contact forms.

4. Membership Eligibility & Verification

  • A full KYC (Know Your Customer) process is necessary for every member to ensure the safety and integrity of our community.
  • Any Codesity member prosecuted for a crime (including but not limited to theft, scam, money laundering, or hacking) will have their membership permanently revoked.
  • To maintain our independence and political neutrality, no active or retired MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly) or other political officials may be a member of this organization.

5. Non-Profit Status, Donations, and Mission Protection

Codesity is a non-profit organization. Our primary source of funding is donations. We are committed to transparency and will provide a clear receipt to all donors detailing how their contribution is used.

  • No individual, partner, or entity may pressure Codesity for profits or otherwise attempt to compromise our non-profit mission.
  • All inquiries regarding the use of funds must be made respectfully via email. Excessive harassment of our team will result in a full refund of the donation and the termination of any associated work or collaboration.
  • All donated items or funds become the sole property of Codesity. The organization will not rent, sell, or otherwise profit from donated assets without the explicit written permission of the donor.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The content and programs on our Site are provided on an "as is" basis. Codesity does not guarantee any specific career outcome or job placement from participation in our programs.

In no event shall Codesity be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Site.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. All legal matters shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Guwahati, Assam.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.
